Coffee Morning

Another successful coffee morning in aid of Christies. A fantastic total of £396.20 was raised for Christies.

A huge thanks to everyone who supported this event by baking cakes, helping on the stall and who bought lots of lovely cakes

Hole in One !

Sue's first Hole in One to halve the match!

Manchester Golf Club's Sue Warrington made her very first Hole in One today and she did it to halve her match against Denise Bodgers!

Sue's golfing career has spanned more than 50 years and we don't use the word 'career' lightly as this lady has won more trophies and accolades than most have us have had hot dinners.

I am sure that Sue must be absolutely thrilled but you have to spare a thought for Denise after all it's not every day that your opponent brings a hole in one out of the bag!

I am pleased to report that the raffle raised a fantastic £365.00, this money will be given to Christies.

I would like to thank everyone who helped on the day especially Betty Green for the beautiful flower arrangements, Tracy Capal, Diane Mayne and Kim Barlow for their help with the raffle, Marlene Spencer who took the photographs on the night, Phil, who took photos during the day.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness, for all the gifts, cards and messages. I am again overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity
